The Stoughton Economic Development Department conducted a Stoughton Train Depot Reuse Study completed in the Spring of 2023 with the assistance of a consultant from FinePoint Associates. Funding for this project was provided by the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development through a Massachusetts Downtown Initiative Grant. The study included input gained from key stakeholders and potential users through focus sessions with Department Heads and Committee/Board Representatives, Potential User Interviews and Community Surveys.
The study indicated that the public supports the idea of repurposing the Train Depot for a multi-use community facility with a focus on arts and culture.
